NanoPop™ S

Make nanoparticles in three simple steps

  1. Add reagents

2. Place NanoPop™ in a tube

3. Centrifuge for 30 seconds

Patent-Pending Technology

We employ state-of-the-art microfluidics to robustly assemble small and low polydispersity lipid nanoparticles.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Just like other microfluidics instruments, NanoPop™ assembles nanoparticles by mixing reagents through microfluidics channels. The difference is how we drive the fluid flow - instead of using pumps, fluid flow is driven by centrifugal force.

  • NanoPop™ works at 2,000 xg, which is the speed most commonly used in mini centrifuges.

  • NanoPop™ works at the 3:1 nucleic acids to lipids volume ratio commonly used in microfluidics protocols (flow rate ratio, FRR = 3).

  • The main application is for lipid nanoparticles that are formulated by mixing nucleic acids with ethanolic lipids.

  • Microfluidic instruments include pumps, tubing, and microfluidic chips. By utilizing centrifugal force to drive fluid flow, scientists can assemble nanoparticles without purchasing a new instrument. Just use a centrifuge!
